Of Biting Ants and Rooftops

We, The High Ramblers, are two best friends that gather regularly to discuss life honestly. We are husbands, fathers, friends, and productive members of our communities. Currently, we sit on an uncomfortable roof with biting ants and wires that make us nervous and street lamps that shine brightly colored mismatched lights into our faces. We talk. Drink beer. Laugh. Smoke. Bullshit. And let our guards down. The hours spent on the roof are many times the highlight of our week. It is not that we do not love our lives, it is that this time and space is ours alone. No expectations of the world or each other. No judgement.

Our times are filled with helping each other understand our inner beings, navigate life, grow as individuals and partners to wives and kids and friends, and loving each other mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Through this space, we hope to provide for ourselves and you a memory of our conversations. Whether it be a new song imagined, a joke invented, an observation of life, or an enlightened thought, may this space give you as much hope and joy as these times give us.

This is sacred space.

Welcome. The High Ramblers.
